Since 2010, Carbon Verification Service has been accredited by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) as a verification body to verify Greenhouse Gas Emission Data Reports under the Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule. Since 2019, Carbon Verification Service has been accredited by CARB to validate and verify applications and reports under the Low Carbon Fuel Standard. Carbon Verification Service has been accredited by Oregon DEQ since 2021 to validate CFP Applications and verify CFP Reports. Carbon Verification Service was accredited by Washington Ecology in December 2023.

In addition to CARB accreditation, Carbon Verification Service staff members have more than 50 years of combined experience in greenhouse gas inventory development in accordance with international GHG reporting protocols and International Standards Organization (ISO) standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 14064-3, ISO14040 and ISO 14044.
